Why we do what we do matters.
WYOMING CHRISTMAS CAROL is a , but is centered around the powerful themes of Family Reconciliation and the true meaning of Home, best expressed through Grace's mother’s dying phrase, "A family's never broken if they love each other well."
This film is powerfully close to my own story, as I've experienced family reconciliation in a deep and profound way.
I walked away from my own husband and son several years ago in an attempt to "find myself", only to find that the "myself" I was seeking was an illusion of what I was actually longing for. After a lot of deep work and the support of my community, I returned to my family and miraculously, we reconciled - at Christmas, nonetheless.
The main topic is Home, and the recognition that home is not so much a physical place as the presence of people you love.
I am uniquely suited to tell this story, not only because of my story, but because my hometown has been so important to me. I was born and raised in Cody, my mom and sister are there, and my father is buried there.
As Cody is the East Entrance to Yellowstone National Park, I grew up watching the town flood with tourists in the summer - and genuinely struggle in the winter.
I wrote this film specifically in the winter to pour into my town in its off-season - bringing production money to hotels, restaurants, and local workers.
I want to give back to the town that raised me.

Our Vision
-
Make a Great Film
We are making a joyful, heartwarming, and funny Christmas classic, a film that families will enjoy during the holidays year after year.
-
Make a Successful Film
Christmas films are good business. Because Christmas films are perennial favorites, they have a long life and can offer a return for years to come.
-
Make an Impact
This film is a winter film specifically to bring production money to Cody, Wyoming and the surrounding areas in the off-season when the town historically suffers a loss of tourists. Films bring production money through hotel stays, catering, restaurant visits, shopping, hiring of local crew, rentals, construction costs, airport traffic, etc.
We have secured the partnership of several local businesses and organizations including but not limited to: The Wyoming Dude Ranchers Association, Rimrock Ranch, The Irma Hotel, The Cowboy Palace Western Wear shop, Yellowstone Regional Airport, etc.
We are volunteering in the local schools and hope to encourage the next generations in what can sometimes feel like an impossible dream.
